Your data, in plain words.

The short version

We help you turn your bills into a CO₂ report. To do that we need your account details and the bills you upload. We keep them in the EU, we don't sell them, and we never use them to train AI. You can download or delete everything at any time.

What we collect

Your account: your email, a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, and your company name.

Your bills: the documents you upload. We read the numbers out of them (how much electricity, fuel, etc.) and keep those numbers. We do not keep the original file after we've read it.

How we use it

Only to give you your CO₂ report and answers for your customer's form. That's it. No advertising, no reselling, and your documents are never used to train any AI model.

Where it's kept, and for how long

On servers in the European Union, kept separate from every other company's data. We keep your numbers so your report is there when you come back. Demo accounts and their sample data are deleted automatically after a day.

Your rights

Download everything: in your workspace, 'Download my data' gives you a file with your account and all your numbers.

Delete everything: 'Delete my account' erases your account and all your data straight away. This can't be undone.

If you're in the EU/UK, this covers your GDPR rights to access, portability, and erasure.

The AI that reads your documents

To read the numbers out of your bills we send the document to Anthropic (the makers of Claude), our AI sub-processor. Anthropic processes it on their API, which runs in the United States — so while we store your account and your results in the EU, the document itself is read in the US at the moment of processing.

Anthropic does not use data sent through their API to train their models, and we don't keep the original file after the numbers are read. If US processing is a problem for your organisation, email us before you upload and we'll tell you where things stand.

Sharing

Apart from the AI sub-processor above, we don't share your data with anyone except the tools we need to run the service (email delivery, error monitoring, hosting) — all chosen to keep your data in the EU. We never send it to advertisers or data brokers.
